AG Barr, the soft drinks manufacturer behind Irn Bru,
has reported a 4% increase in revenue for the first 13
weeks of the financial year.
Revenue performance in core carbonate brands,
particularly in Irn Bru, had been strong and overall
sales had benefited from new products including Rockstar,
Taut, Vitsmart and the St Clement's fruit drinks and
smoothie range, AG Barr said.
Continued pressure from rising raw material prices had
been offset by product increases, the company added.
