NEWS: MINIMUM PRICE FOR ALCOHOL CONSIDERED (Source: The Grocer)

Ministers in England and Wales are considering setting a minimum price for alcoholic drinks.

The minimum price would be 35p per unit - or at least 72p for a can of beer - according to the Daily Telegraph.

The move could bring England and Wales in line with Scotland, which this week proposed a minimum price for alcoholic drinks as part of its alcohol strategy.
